CAROLE DOBRICH B.Sc., RN, IBCLC (she/her)

Carole is an RN, IBCLC and completed her B.Sc. in MCH - Human Lactation. She wears many hats in both her professional and volunteer roles.

She’s an advocate for supporting the breastfeeding dyad to reach their goals, and has been supporting families with complicated lactation situations for 30+ years. Her involvement with tongue-tie research started in 2004. Her original Frenotomy Decision Rule for Breastfeeding Infants evolved into the Frenotomy Decision Tool for Breastfeeding Dyads. She attended the 1st meeting in Orlando of what became the International Affiliation of Tongue-tie Professionals (IATP). Also involved in the development of the International Consortium of Oral Ankylofrenula Professionals (ICAP) and is a founding member.

She believes in sharing knowledge through education, mentoring, supporting research, advocacy and putting all in to good ethical practice. Proud mother of 4 adult children & 1 grandchild (soon to be 2). She now lives in Perth, Australia, after 40 years in Montreal, Canada.
