Korowa Girls School is excited to announce the ‘Stage of Influence’ Student Short-Film Festival to be held in Melbourne at ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) on Saturday the 11th of September 2021. 

This festival will showcase the works of young budding film-makers from all around Victoria. Students are invited to submit short films inspired by either current social events, environmental or economical issues. These films will shown at the ACMI Cinemas to an audience of fellow students and will be judged by our panel of industry experts and awards and prizes will be given to finalists and winners. 

In conjunction with our students films, the day will consist of “Ted Talk” style presentations from influential speakers on a range of current issues affecting the youth of today and the future of their world.
